Mo, a native of London, England, spent most of his playing career at non-league Hayes Football Club and Uxbridge FC. He then started his coaching career at Harrow FC, from there he worked for the English F.A. organizing and running their coaching courses. Mo then began his in Youth Academies, first at Watford FC and then moved onto Sheffield United FC, where he spent almost seven years. He then moved to the USA in 1997, to coach in Dallas TX for three years before accepting a Director’s position in Oklahoma for Frontier Country Soccer Association. He held this position for nine years and was also very involved in the Olympic Development Program. He was then recruited by The David Beckham Academy in 2005 to be the Director of Coaching for the Los Angeles Academy. Mo is holds both the English Full Badge and an USSF A license.

BETSY POLLARD

GENERAL MANAGER

Pollard is a native of Sioux City, Iowa, who attended the University of Kansas on a soccer scholarship where she played goalkeeper from 1996 to 1999. She ended her career as the captain of the team and the record-holder for the lowest goals against average in a single season. After graduation, she worked for Major League Soccer's (MLS) Kansas City Wizards for more than two years. Pollard was the director of camp operations for the Wizards, where she created and implemented a variety of youth camps and academies. Pollard was then accepted into the elite Sports Management Masters program sponsored by FIFA, the world governing body of soccer, which accepts just 25 students per year. The program took her to England, Italy and Switzerland, spending a semester in each country. After completion of her master's degree in 2003, she accepted a position at the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) in the Coaching Education Department, coordinating all USSF coaching licensing courses in Region III and IV. She was then recruited to join The David Beckham Academy in 2005. Betsy holds a USSF C license

STEPHEN MYLES

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF COACHING

Originally a native of Sheffield, England, Myles was born into the already famous "Johnson Football Family," who have very strong ties to Sheffield United FC. Myles brings an extensive playing and coaching career that started in the 1970s. Myles played for various clubs during his professional career including Chesterfield FC, Scarborough FC and Boston United FC. In 1990, he followed a family tradition and signed for Sheffield United FC as a non-contract player, and one year later, he started his coaching career and became Director of the youth academy. He became head youth coach (U18s) where, under his guidance, several of the current Sheffield United FC Premiership players, including Phil Jagielka, Michael Tonge and Nick Montgomery were signed and developed. Myles then moved up to reserve team coach, followed by a short spell as first team coach. In 2001, upon leaving Sheffield United FC after 10 years, Myles was recruited by former USA youth national team coach Roy Rees to open a $3 million academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2003, he was hired as an assistant coach for the San Jose CyberRays of the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA). After the league ceased, he took over as director of coaching at the Santa Anita soccer club in Pasadena, California. Myles has been involved in the Olympic Development Program as a region III staff coach and scouted for the national youth program since 1994. Myles currently holds the English Full Badge as well as the UEFA "A" European coaching license

MICHAEL QUIGLEY

FULL TIME ACADEMY COACH

Quigley aka. Quigs, was born and raised in Dublin Ireland. Started his career as a youth player with the Dublin school boy club St. John Bosco. Moving up through the ranks he played senior football there and later began coaching and has never looked back since. Moving to the States in 2001 he played with the California Heat, a team which has produced many MLS and other professional league players. He has coached the varsity high school programs at Pasadena Polytechnic and Temple City and is a current Coast Soccer League club coach. Quigs is a certified speed agility and quickness trainer and currently holds a USSF - B License.

SARAH WOOLLISCROFT

SOCCER EDUCATION MANAGER AND COACH

Originally of Chesterfield, England, Woolliscroft has an extensive playing and coaching career. The newest member of The David Beckham Academy Los Angeles staff, Woolliscroft comes to us after coaching for The David Beckham Academy in London for the past two years. The highlights of Woolliscroft's playing career were playing for the British Universities (1998-2001) and for Arsenal Ladies (1998-2001) winning all major domestic trophies, including the coveted FA Cup in 2001. During her 10-year playing career in the English Women's Premier League, Woolliscroft has also coached at all levels for the past 10 years. She learned her trade working summers in the United States for Major League Soccer (MLS) and after completing her sports science degree, she moved on to become the Director of Rushden and Diamonds Girls Centre of Excellence coaching elite female players from the age of six through 16. Woolliscroft was also the Soccer Development Officer for Northamptonshire Football Association, creating and implementing school-club links. She earned her UEFA level 3 coaching license in 2002 and after joining The David Beckham Academy in 2005, Woolliscroft also worked with Elite Under-12 girls at Arsenal FC.
